Chagrin Falls High School (CFHS) senior Jack Gips has been selected as the December Chagrin Valley Rotary Student of the Month. Jack was chosen based on his leadership and service qualities he has displayed in the community.

During his time at CFHS, Jack earned a variety of awards and recognitions. He was named an AP Scholar with Distinction, made the Honor Roll and was the band senior president. CFMS November Students of the Month

The mission of the Chagrin Falls Middle School Students of the Month is to acknowledge and reward students for exemplary performance. The students depict Tiger Techniques: Think, Integrity, Grit, Effort and Responsibility. Each month, the seventh- and eighth-grade teams collaborate and choose a male and female “Tiger of the Month” and the students receive personalized tiger water bottles from the PTO.

Students of the Month for November are seventh-graders Elizabeth Pollock and Beckett Buescher and eighth-graders Natalie Venorsky and Peter Mitchell.

Elizabeth Pollock is kindhearted, respectful and always comes to class with a positive attitude. She has shown that she can persevere when challenged and her quiet determination and drive propel her to the top of any classroom. She is a leader in the classroom as well as in the cello section in the seventh-grade orchestra. Elizabeth worked hard during cross country this past fall. She pushed herself each day and ended up being in our top four by the end of the season.

Beckett Buescher brings a smile and a new perspective to any class. His attentive leadership has been helpful to his classmates as they explore new ideas. When he is not reflecting on his creative work in class, he is a leader helping others around him and is able to clearly explain his ideas to others. Beckett is self-motivated and conscientious of his work and perseveres through challenging research material. He is a wonderful student who participates daily in class. He is dedicated to being successful and shows respect for his peers and teachers.

Natalie Venorsky is the epitome of a well-rounded student. She is an engaged and thoughtful learner and is a positive role model for her peers inside and outside of the classroom. Natalie is always prepared for class, actively participates and is willing to give her classmates a helping hand. Outside of class she is involved in many extracurricular activities. As a member of Student Council, she works hard to create a fun middle school experience for her peers. Natalie is also an active and valued member of the Speech and Debate Team where she successfully competes in Declamation.

Peter Mitchell has a passion and energy that is rare to find in the average middle school student. His genuine curiosity and willingness to help in the classroom is admirable. Peter is positive, curious, and incredibly hard working. He takes the time to enjoy each class and exhibits his strengths each day. Peter is also an active and valued member of the Speech and Debate and Mock Trial Team. He has a wide range of interests both inside and outside a class, and when he shares his observations our school benefits.
