Jared Grieb
CHARDON – Jared Grieb, age 20, of Chardon, passed away while vacationing with friends on Pelee Island, Ontario, Canada.
Born Aug. 5, 1996, in Cleveland, to Brian and Gina (nee Waggoner) Grieb, he had been a lifelong Chardon resident.
Jared was a graduate of Chardon High School, Class of 2014, and currently entering his junior year at Kent State University.
He was an avid sports fan, especially Cleveland sports and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Friends and family will remember Jared as a kind, considerate and caring person who was a joy to be around; he was loved by everyone who knew or met him.
Survivors include his parents, Brian and Gina, of Chardon; brother, Dylan, of Chardon; grandparents, Graylen and Linda Waggoner, of Sagamore Hills; and uncle, Mike (Ella) Waggoner, of Sagamore Hills.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26 at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
