James Popovich
CHARDON TWP. – James “Jimmy” Popovich, age 61, of Chardon Township, died unexpectedly at his home on April 23, 2019.
Born Aug. 13, 1957, in Cleveland, to Peter and Audrey (nee Schleimer) Popovich, he moved to Chardon in 1993.
Jimmy loved classic cars, his dog Sheldon, working on his yard and walking with his wife and dog.
For more than 30 years he was a truck driver, but retired from Mapledale Farm after 12 years of service.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Connie (nee Murphy) Popovich, of Chardon Township.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Peter.
The family is planning a celebration of Jimmy’s life at a later date at Big Creek Park, where Jimmy and Connie were married and walk Sheldon daily.
