East Geauga Kiwanis Club held its annual awards banquet on June 11 to recognize Cardinal and Berkshire students who either received a scholarship for college or were named outstanding freshmen in high school.
Scholarship winners are Avery Dwyer from Berkshire High School and Rachael Zurick from Cardinal High School. Emma Geesling received the Cardinal Key Club Award and Mason Mendolera received the Richard A. Moss Service Award.
Outstanding Freshmen are Charlotte Townsend and Paden Brent from Berkshire High School, and J. Hartman and D. Turon from Cardinal High School.
