Cleveland Man Arrested in Bainbridge for Possession of Drugs
Howard was found to be in possession of approximately 17 grams of crack cocaine, five grams of suspected heroin, approximately $3,700 cash, five cell phones and a digital scale
During a joint investigation involving the Portage County Drug Task Force, the Bainbridge Police Department and the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office — with the assistance of the Aurora Police Department K-9 unit — arrested Robert L. Howard, 38, of Cleveland, May 8 in Bainbridge Township for drug possession.
During the incident, Howard was found to be in possession of approximately 17 grams of crack cocaine, five grams of suspected heroin, approximately $3,700 cash, five cell phones and a digital scale, according to officials.
Howard was charged with possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony. Additional charges will be presented to the Geauga County Grand Jury at a later date, the sheriff’s office said.
Howard appeared in Chardon Municipal Court Tuesday and received a $50,000 cash/surety bond.
